How does ABS work?

ABS controls the brake line pressure acting on the wheel brake cylinders so that the wheels will not lock up during emergency braking, so that the car can still maintain better directional stability during emergency braking. On a car that is not equipped with ABS, if the car is braked on the snow, the car will easily lose its directional stability; at the same time, if the driver wants to stop, he must use a hydraulic regulator (also known as an actuator). Conversely, if the car is equipped with ABS, your car’s wheel speed is monitored and if wheel lock is detected, a sensor sends a message to a controller that releases and applies the brake up to 20 times per second, preventing a lock up and helping you maintain control of your vehicle.

Advantages of ABS

The function of ABS is to prevent wheels from locking and slipping during braking by adjusting and controlling the brake pipeline pressure, so that it is in a rolling and sliding state of slippage rate of 15%-25%. The advantages are as follows:

Limitations of ABS
